¡Saludos & Salud!

greetings and cheers!

Fun fact: Growing up in the Dominican Republic, we say “saludos” to greet each other and “salud” for cheers or after someone sneezes. Since salud means health, I’ve always seen it as a small way of caring for others. I bring that same energy into my work: people-first, empathetic, and a little fun.

I’m a Dominican immigrant and first-generation college grad with a deep fascination for the human condition. I love analyzing the relationship between our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and how we make sense of our own world. I spent years as a therapist, active listening, asking thoughtful questions, and holding space for self-reflection. I learned that humans already hold their own truth, and my role is never to tell someone who or what to be, but to help uncover the why  beneath their experiences.

I’m also a maker at heart. Whether I’m baking bread, painting, doodling, shaping pottery, or tinkering with new ideas, creating is how I explore the world. That same curiosity naturally led me to UX/UI design, where I get to combine empathy, human insight, and creativity into experiences that brighten people’s lives.

At the end of the day, I am motivated by work that makes a difference and by the people I get to make it with. So here’s my “salud” to thoughtful design, meaningful work, and the people we build it for. If you think we can create something great, let’s talk.
